Keep in mind that we aren't a large kennel and keep our numbers low to focus on health and breeding standards. We understand the problem with puppy mills and irresponsible breeding habits.
What is bred with H.E.A.R.T.
Bred with H.E.A.R.T. not only allows AKC to engage and educate a wide scope of breeders on best breeding practices, including health testing, it also creates a resource for the public to find puppies from responsible breeders who are demonstrating a commitment to health testing. The Bred with H.E.A.R.T. logo will directly connect consumers to breeders who agree to the commitment.
H.E.A.R.T.
HEALTH: You certify that your breeding stock is health tested in accordance with the recommendations of their breed’s AKC Breed Parent Club.
EDUCATION: Promising that you will pursue AKC-provided or AKC-approved continuing breeder education so that you stay educated on the best breeding practices, including advances in canine health.
ACCOUNTABILITY: Agreeing to comply with the AKC Care and Conditions Policy, including inspections by the AKC, and promising to share health testing and continuing education documentation with AKC.
RESPONSIBILITY: Accepting responsibility for the health and well-being of the puppies you produce and for complying with all laws regarding the ownership and maintenance of dogs.
TRADITION: Upholding the AKC’s tradition of breeding purebred dogs that are happy and healthy.
We meet all requirements for American Kennel Club Bred with H.E.A.R.T. Program. (Health, Education, Accountability, Responsibility, and Tradition.)
What sets us apart?
We focus on the Boston Terriers of all color, shape and size! Our biggest priority is the health of our baby Bostons.
We offer a range of options when it comes to color, full/limited AKC registration, short/long distance delivery, and puppy accessories. Making us a one stop shop for all things Boston Terriers. The only thing we can't do is the vet check, and we do it all to give you a smooth start with a new best friend! We are an official buisness operating out Long Lane, Missouri
Our Program
Tellier's Boston Terriers are nursed from an early age on a five acre homestead located in Long Lane, Missouri.
Proper nutrition and wellness provided for all of our Sire's and Dam's. We feed our adult dogs a mix of delicious treats, and Purina One Smart Blend dog food.
Puppies will be nursed by mom until 4-5 weeks old depending on a multitude of factors. At that time they will switch to a wet food/formula mix that gives them the essential vitamins needed to live full healthy lives.
